Generously donated by various supporters

We can now say, because of all those who donated camera traps, that we are playing an integral role in the image capture of animals in both Phinda and Pongola Game Reserve.

Camera traps have revolutionized data gathering in conservation. They can be set up in selected areas to silently record passing animals. This has led to the discovery of many new additions to the various populations, informed rangers of wounded or snared animals that need help, recorded new species or species previously thought to be locally extinct, catch poachers. Information can be recorded day or night and often in hard-to-access places with minimal disturbance.

Say cheese!
