Tunga Studio embroiderers thanking Wild Tomorrow Fund for their solar lamps. Now they can work after the sun goes down.

Generously donated by various supporters

Tunga Studios is a small embroidery group just three miles from our conservancy. The owner, Beulah Meintjes, employs local women who, in their time away from their factory jobs, make hand-sewn items that are sold at local gift shops.

These women do the majority of sewing when they return to their their accommodations, supplied by their daytime employer. There is no electricity so when the sun sets they are forced to stop sewing. Beulah asked us if we could help by providing each lady with solar lamps. They were thrilled with the lamps and we were thrilled to help.
