OUR NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH KINDERMAXX

Wild Tomorrow Fund is delighted to announce our new partnership with Kindermaxx, an online brand focusing on environmentally friendly, high-quality products for babies and children. Based in a village called Saalfelden in Austria, owners Sanne and Jan Willem share a love for Africa and its wildlife, and have travelled many times to our region. In March 2019, Sanne and Jan met Wild Tomorrow Fund’s co-founders Wendy & John Steward at a small local lodge close to the Ukuwela Reserve. After learning more about Wild Tomorrow Fund’s work, Sanne and Jan wondered how they too could help.

Around 6 months later, back in Austria, they started working on their new colorful lion logo. The lion made them think about Wild Tomorrow Fund and our work to protect lions and other African animals. They decided that now was the time to act, and that they could help by donating a portion of Kindermaxx sales to Wild Tomorrow Fund, while also encouraging their customers to donate. And just like that, our collaboration was born with a ROAR!

It is indeed a wild world, and it needs all of us to help. Kindermaxx is stepping up with our new collaboration and this new bag.

For every purchase of the new Kindermaxx bag featuring the colorful lion logo, € 2 will be donated to Wild Tomorrow Fund to help us protect threatened wildlife and their wild homes in KwaZulu-Natal South Africa. Additionally, for every purchase from the store of over € 500, Kindermaxx will donate € 1. Customers are also prompted to show some extra love for lions and the planet by making an additional donation to Wild Tomorrow Fund when they check out.

“What we do not want is for our children to only know the world of African animals from children's books” said Sanne and Jan. They created their new logo to represent their love for African wildlife - a theme thats is featured in many of their product designs. They said that while many companies donate to plant trees, this was not enough for them, “because a tree does not speak to children. We have a big heart for animals in general and Africa. To combine all that and let the children be involved, we hope that Africa and their animals will be as important for them, children and parents, as it is for us.”

Kindermaxx’s key markets are Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland (for 1-3 day deliveries) and other European countries. We hope that this also brings awareness of our work and the importance of wildlife conservation to new European audiences. When you next shop for gifts for friends and family in Europe, we hope that you you check out Kindermaxx who are playing their part in giving back to protect wildlife we all love.

Kindermax’s website now proudly features Wild Tomorrow Fund and our logo. This week for the launch, their site proudly featured our image of a wild lion at Tembe Reserve, one of the government reserves we support.  It’s beautiful to see this lion featured so prominently and we hope it pulls at the heart strings of many parents, whose children love lions. We hope that they will protect lions and all wildlife, so their children can still grow up to see them in the wild.
