Ukuwela Rangers holding a thank you card from New York girl scouts

This July and August, we are acknowledging the tireless efforts of wildlife rangers who put their lives on the line to protect our planet's precious wildlife.

We would love your help by donating to our campaign so we can get these brave men and women who are often underpaid, and under equipped items supplies that they desperately need. Below is a description of where the donations will go.

RANGER ACCOMMODATON

For the past few years the Ukuwela rangers have been living in tents. We are in the process of building them new structures but there are still items they need.

- Bedframes, mattresses & bedding
- Desks, chairs and lamps
- Stove, fridge and freezer
- Environmental toilet
- Water Tank

UNIFORMS AND BOOTS

A good uniform and sturdy pair of boots are perhaps the most important items a ranger needs. However, in many reserves rangers wear uniforms that are falling apart and boots with tears and holes. We would like to get them the following:

- Shirts
- Trousers
- Boots
- Rain jackets

- Binoculars
- Cameras
- Field guide training
